Handling & Safe Consumption of Kangen Wagyu®

Please ensure this product is thoroughly cooked before consumption. Undercooked beef, or beef that has been improperly stored or handled, can cause food poisoning. This is especially important for young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems; please ensure the beef is thoroughly cooked to the center.

After purchase, freeze immediately and consume within the expiration date (approximately one year). This product is shipped frozen. Once thawed, consume on the same day. Thawing may result in some liquid.

Please follow the guidelines below:

1. Hygiene Management

Always wash your hands with Kangen Ukon Soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds before and after handling food. Clean and sanitize cooking utensils, cutting boards, and work surfaces with 2.7 pH Strong Acidic Water before and after use.

2. Prevention of Cross-Contamination

Handle raw meat separately from other foods and use a dedicated cutting board and knife for raw meat. Prevent meat juices from contacting other foods.

3. Cooking

Always cook thoroughly to the center. Target temperature: beef 145°F or higher, ground beef 159°F or higher. Use a food thermometer.

4. Storage Method

Store in the freezer at 0°F or below. After cooking, refrigerate within 2 hours.

5. Precautions

Do not use if there is an unusual odor, discoloration, or stickiness. Re-freezing may reduce quality and safety.
